Walk Through Bethlehem
A Slice of Ancient Israel right here in Nashville...
Each December, the south lawn of Woodmont is filled with sheep and hay. Our southeastern courtyard is filled with goats and camels. The wooden floor of our gymnasium finds itself covered in four inches of mulch. Woodmont’s members put on costumes and full body makeup, and Woodmont’s lower floor converts completely to a representation of First Century Ancient Israel, on the night of the birth of Jesus. For one busy Sunday a year, Woodmont opens its doors to the Nashville community to share the story of Christ’s birth in a different and exciting way.
Walk Thru Bethlehem grows annually, drawing crowds of thousands.
Walk Thru Bethlehem will take place December 12, 2010 from 1pm-7pm
