Thank You, Woodmont!

Thank You, Woodmont!

I want to say THANK YOU to everybody who has made a three-year commitment to support our “Generations of Faith” capital campaign to build a new family life center and additional parking here at Woodmont. The response has been VERY STRONG and we are now moving into the follow-up phase of the campaign. You can still make a commitment here and we are working hard to turn this bold vision into a reality. Thank you for your generosity and support, and thanks to all our leaders who have worked hard to lay out this vision. This major project will transform our campus in the years to come and provide some much-needed space for our church to continue to grow and thrive. Just imagine everything that will take place in the life center (children, youth, families, seniors) and the many lives that will be impacted. This campaign just shows that when we all work together and set a vision for the future, amazing things can happen. The energy and momentum of Woodmont will continue.

I want to say a special thanks to Steve Cates and the entire campaign team that has been working very hard on this project in recent months. We will be updating you in the coming weeks and months ahead as the plans continue to come together. As you know, full architectural design of the space takes time, but Hastings is working diligently with The Parent Company on the project. Our goal is to begin construction in the early summer of 2026 and it will take just over a year to complete. Churches move forward when we join together in faith to make big things happen. This year as a church, we have a LOT to be thankful for.

We are now moving into the best time of the year with Thanksgiving next week, Hanging of the Greens (Nov. 30), and Walk Thru Bethlehem (Dec. 14) just around the corner. As I said on Sunday, our church will continue to be a LIGHT dedicated to “Growing Disciples” and serving this community! Thank you for making that possible.

With gratitude,

-Clay Stauffer
