Andra Moran
Creative Director, The Bridge
Andra Moran is the Creative Director and serves in the role of worship pastor for The Bridge, Woodmont’s alternative worship service. In addition to her work at Woodmont, Andra keeps busy as a songwriter, singer, author, worship designer and freelance touring musician in ecumenical settings.
Andra has released six full-length albums and one Christmas EP, as well as a bilingual album titled Chant Spontané which was released by the Reform Church of France. Andra’s songs have been published in contemporary song and hymnal collections and are sung in churches, summer camps, and dorm rooms in the United States and Europe.
Andra is also an author. Her published work includes denominational publications for the United Church of Christ and Disciples of Christ, curriculum One Great Hour of Sharing and the Center for Ecumenical Stewardship, and a children’s collection of devotionals written for Capitol Records / Brentwood Benson. Andra’s book, Brim: Creative Overflow in Worship Design, co-authored with Rev. Dr. Suzanne Castle, was released in 2013 by Chalice Press and is the recipient of the Editor’s Choice Award by Worship Leader Magazine. It was also a featured resource of the Wild Goose Festival. A Brim sequel is in the works and scheduled for a spring 2020 release. Through BrimProject.com, Andra and her coauthor Suzanne offer artist renewal retreats.
In her free time, Andra enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She has a four-year-old daughter named after the heirloom lilies in that bloom in her garden.
