Keeping Woodmont Strong

This Sunday is COMMITMENT SUNDAY at Woodmont. We will wind down our spring stewardship campaign, “Living Generously,” that supports the mission and operations of our church for another year. Our church remains healthy financially, but we all must continue to support it. Jesus said clearly, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” If you give your money to anything in life, you will pay close attention to how it is doing. Heart follows treasure, according to Jesus. Living generously is part of growing in faith.
Our operating budget is different from a capital campaign. This is how we fund the ongoing ministries of the church, including staff, mission and outreach, worship, children’s and youth ministry, music, property, small groups, and all the other things that we do. The church fully depends on commitments and generosity to function. Together we are doing great things in living out our mission of “Seeking God, sharing love, and serving others.” As our church grows, so do the demands to keep it running smoothly. These commitments allow us to responsibly set our budget in the coming weeks.
Campbell West will be coming down in early May, and we will begin work on our new Family Life Center, starting with the site. This construction project is being done by The Parent Company and is anticipated to take 12-15 months to complete, but it will completely transform our campus, providing us with a beautiful new space for ministry and additional parking. See the updated images below. Thank you for keeping Woodmont strong. I am grateful for your commitment and generosity! You can click here to make your pledge online.
