Martha Duff

Preschool Director

Martha Brothers Duff is the Director of Woodmont Christian Preschool. She returned to her hometown of Nashville from Noroton Presbyterian Nursery School in Darien, CT where she was the Director of the Nursery School for four years, and prior to that, Assistant Director for five years. While at Noroton, Martha spent eight years studying and training in the Reggio Emilia pedagogy. Before working as an administrator, she taught preschool for eight years at Peachtree Presbyterian in Atlanta, St. George’s Kindergarten in Nashville, and Noroton in Darien. Martha has four children, Will, Jack, Grace and Lola and has three granddaughters. She attended the University of Alabama where she trained in observing, assessing, and testing students in the University’s Lab Preschool, and she also taught high school students at the Bryce Mental Hospital. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Child Psychology from Belmont University and holds a Director’s Certificate from CCEI.
