Jake Patterson

Middle School Youth Director

Jake is a Colorado native and graduate of Belmont University where he received his degree (cum laude) in Biblical Studies. While at Belmont, Jake was awarded the Tabor Ministerial Award and a member of Theta Alpha Kappa (Religious Studies) Honor Society.

Jake has worked as both volunteer and paid staff with the Student Ministry of Christ Presbyterian Church – at both their main campus and more recently at the CPC campus on Music Row. His responsibilities included event planning, weekly relationship building, and student engagement.

Jake’s passion is building relationships through small groups. He cites one of his favorite ministry experiences as working alongside a group of students in a small group who over time developed high levels of trust, accountability, and powerful relational bonds.
