Mother-Son Olympics

Join us for our annual Mother-Son Olympics!   This fun event is for mothers and sons of all ages to participate in classic field day games such as hula hoop ring toss, a massive obstacle course, bounce houses, water balloon toss, and tug o' war! We'll even have an area for young children to participate.   Come prepared to get messy and spend some quality time with your boys!   In order for us to provide enough food, registration is required for the Mother-Son Olympics.   Register for Mother-Son Olympics

Spiritual Gifts & Strengths class

At Woodmont, we believe you have been created for a purpose! We also believe that people are more passionate about offering their gifts when they are doing something they love. We would like to help you discover your spiritual gifts and develop your unique strengths and then help you activate the serving heart God gave you! Beginning, Monday, Oct. 16, we are offering a five-week class in which you will: Take a spiritual gifts and ministry strengths inventory (using Gallup's Clifton Strengths Finder) Have your results interpreted and explained Be guided toward a ministry role that best fits your gifts and strength profile! Led by Beth Pattillo (a certified Clifton Strengths coach), Jay Hutchens (Woodmont's Executive Pastor), and Tammy Morgan (Woodmont's Connections Director), the class will run from Monday, Oct. 16, through Monday, Nov. 13, from 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM in Room 200. Woodmont Worship Night

Hanging of the Greens

The Sanctuary 3601 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, United States

Our annual Hanging of the Greens service is Sunday, Dec. 3, at 5:00 PM in the sanctuary, followed by The Tasting party in Drowota Hall. The service marks the beginning of the Advent season and features carols sung by the congregation and the Cherub Choir, Grace Notes, Handbell Choir, Jubilation, and the Chancel Choir. The Tasting Party is a special Christmas tradition at Woodmont where everyone brings a favorite holiday goodie to share with others. Punch and hot cider are provided. Bring your food to either the kitchen or to Drowota Hall before going to the sanctuary.
