The Season of Lent

Recently, I sat in my office with a man just diagnosed with stage four cancer. He received the news about a month ago and he wanted to process it with me. He told me he was grateful for the many years that he had already lived, but that he was still shocked by the diagnosis. This Sunday - 3 services in the chapel

Woodmont Family, We will return for in-person worship this Sunday, Feb. 8. The message is titled “Restoring Power, Sanity, & Hope” focused on John 8 & Romans 7. Because the storm badly damaged our boiler and air handler, we currently do not have heat in the sanctuary. So, we will be offering THREE SERVICES in Carpenter Chapel. We are encouraging families to try the 8:30 or 11 hour if you are used to the 9:30/9:40 time so we can spread the flow out. Overflow seating will be in the chapel foyer and in the youth room. 8:30 AM – Simple......

Pushing Through It

Everybody is doing the best they can to recover from this devastating ice storm. We still have many members of our church without power after 10 days! The church boiler was badly damaged by the storm and will most likely need to be replaced. This is what heats the sanctuary, gym, gathering hall, and a number of classrooms.
